Meet Laura

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here! It is my joy and passion to encourage women and provide practical ways to experience the hope, peace, and freedom Jesus Christ died to give us in the middle of our real-life worries, stress, and relationships.

I hope you enjoy learning more about my speaking and writing ministry. Most of all, however, I hope that while you’re here you will be reminded how deeply the Lord knows and loves you.

In Jesus’ Love,

Laura

Four Weeks to Fear LESS: Tired of being paralyzed and feeling imprisoned by fear and anxiety? Embark on a transformative journey with this empowering journal written especially for women aged 17 and up. Learn to recognize the barriers that keep you from experiencing more peace. Once you start to identify the walls your fear has created, you’ll have opportunities to practice dismantling them by wrestling with and reflecting on what Scripture says about fear. Based on the author’s own experiences with anxiety and eventually finding freedom from a lifetime of panic attacks, this journal will help you start the journey to fear less.

Where’s Jesus When I’m Scared?: Where’s Jesus When I’m Scared is about a Japanese-American girl named Natasha, who learns that even when she struggles to make good choices, Jesus’ unconditional love and presence are a help and comfort. Based on the author’s childhood struggles with anxiety, this beautiful book with hand-rendered illustrations, includes characters based on both the author’s and illustrator’s adopted, multi-racial children.

Here’s a teaching sample on John 4 from a recent conference in Minneapolis from
Laura’s keynote session, “When Faith Fails.”
